On Favorite Vintage Instruments/Equipment:
“I think it’s important to discuss that its not just the fact that something’s vintage that I like about it. It has a lot to do with the sound and the tone. And the way things were manufactured back then. They’re just not done anymore. And it’s a unique and individual method that went into everything. You buy an old amp from the 70s, 60s or whatever and even if it’s the same year or same factory, they’re all going to sound a little bit different. So you’re trying to have this uniqueness to them that you kind of learn to work with and kind of master the attributes of, I guess. And i think that’s what’s most appealing thing about older stuff…”
