Interview By Sam Fuhrer

Who They Are (The Felice Brothers):

“they are a close-knit band of two brothers and three longtime friends, all in their twenties. They are self-taught, not one of them played an instrument prior to the band’s inception in 2006 when they started busking in New York City subway stations. ” —Fat Possum Records

Representing the two ends of America unfolding:

“My own father was a carpenter and I grew up in that world; that’s still the world we inhabit most of the time. When we’re not on tour, we’re there (Palenville). I always forget I’m a musician that goes on tour. I always forget that’s what I do when I’m home.”
