Canadian band, B*BOSS just released their second EP, Take 2, and it is a mix between heartbreaking pop ballads and hilarious rap songs. Their music video for “If You Leave Me” tells a story of the many stages of life and love experienced from bed. We see the protagonist undertake a journey of having his first kiss participating in kinky experiments, experiencing divorce, and later, death.
“Learned more from the world than school or church” the lead singer exclaims, which gets to the core about what the song is truly about. It’s about learning about life through experience and accepting that things don’t always go the way we imagined they would.
The song is reminiscent of one of their earlier hits, Remembered, which also features beautiful female vocals and a gentle hip hop beat. Make sure to check out the video (below). You don’t want to miss it!
